I can't think of a reason why not, 8gb of ram at 1600mhz is nothing that most new hardware won't work with, just make sure that the ram you buy is I identical to the ram you already have and you'll be fine! Goodluck!
I agree you'll want to buy a sexing ram card (same as the one you already have) you'll see a performance increase from it as well so it'd be wise to get more ram
