Processor Bottlenecking My GPU?

Hey guys, I have recently upgraded from an older ATI(HD 6570 1GB DDR3) card to a new Nvidia(GeForce GTX 650) card. Ive seen a large jump in the smoothness in the games, but not a huge increase in my framerate. Im wondering if my CPU(AMD Athlon x2 250 @3.0 Ghz) is bottlenecking my GPU.


Heres my specs.
CPU-AMD Athlon x2 250 @3.0 Ghz
GPU-EVGA GeForce GTX 650 1GB DDR5
RAM- 7GB DDR3
OS- Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

You should be fine with the GTX 650 and the X2 250, but what resolution are you playing at? That is important.

Mainly 1920x1080 with med/high graphic settings.

You will be fine with that setup. If you ever want an increase in FPS with games that are more cpu bound consider lowering the resolution to something like 1600x900.
