Processor for gigabyte G41M-COMBO

hi,
So i am not like one of rich kid and high gamer .

I want suggestion to buy new processor for my mobo gigabyte G41M-combo rev 2.0
Running on 2gb ddr2 ram and no graphic card.

My requirements : i only play cs 1.6 steam .
With my current cpu which is intel core 2 Tm something i get only 30 fps avg at 200 ping .
I just want a proccessor that can up the FPS a bit .

My budget is about 80-90$

Really depends on what processor you currently have. If you already have an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, I'd be more concerned about the amount of RAM you're running.

Here is the CPU Support List for your motherboard. I do not see that processor listed, so I'm not sure what you have. Minimum system requirements for CS only states a 500Mhz processor and all of the processors on this list exceed that by a large margin.

I'd still upgrade the RAM first and then, if you're still having problems, then look at upgrading to a different processor.
