Processor for Radeon R9 290X

I am building a new computer which i the Radeon r9 290x. And my motherboard requires a 4th gen processors. I want to be able to make sure that i can use the full power of my graphics cards. And make sure that its at the best possible speed for gaming.

You didn't give a budget, but everybody here including myself will say get an i5-4670k

For the processor i am willing to go to 400$. Was also thinking Intel Core i7-4770K 3.5GHz. just need a second thought

The 4670k is 95-99% as good as the 4770k in gaming.
