Processor-FSB and Memory

The full question and situation is below. To summarise my question below: Can you stick a 1600Mhz memory stick into a mother board that has a processor that says it can only handle 1066/1333? Im also not really willing to overclock, i prefer to stay with the stock speeds

Im not an expert in computers and hardware but i have some idea but i do not know everything. Im also not really willing to overclock or to edit anything, i prefer it to be left as stock speeds
My question is about processors, specifically the front side bus (FSB) and memory speed (Mhz).
[By the way, if im wrong at what im saying, please correct me, always nice to be told the right things]

On this processor, i7 2600k (http://ark.intel.com/products/52214/Intel-Core-i7-2600K-Processor-(8M-Cache-3_40-GHz)), its says under 'Memory Specifications-Memory Types' DDR3-1066/1333. Correct me if im wrong but this is the FSB right?

Anyway, i've been looking for a motherboard that's compatible with this processor and this is what have caught my eye, the ASUS P8P67 Deluxe (http://uk.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8P67_DELUXE/), under the 'Specifications' tab and 'Memory' its says it can support:
4 x DIMM, Max. 32GB, DDR3 2200(O.C.)/2133(O.C.)/1866(O.C.)/1600/1333/1066 MHz Non-ECC, Un-buffered Memory
Dual Channel Memory Architecture

For memory ive been looking at this, Corsair 16GB (4x4) DDR3 1600Mhz Vengeance Blue (http://www.ebuyer.com/262586-corsair-16gb-4x4gb-ddr3-1600mhz-vengeance-blue-memory-kit-cl9-9-9-9-24-cmz16gx3m4a1600c9b)

THE QUESTION:
Does the FSB of the processor need to match the speed of the memory? So the fsb of the processor is 1066/1333 so i need to only use 1066 or 1333 speed of the memory?
Is the chosen memory above compatible with the chosen processor? If not, can i still use that memory as my mobo accepts it?
Lastly, on the mobo, those 4 memory slots all support DDR3 right? So im right in choosing 4x4GB memory sticks to get 16GB of total physical memory? The mobo supports 4 memory slots, but is it better to use 2x8GB sticks or its better with 4x4GB?

isnt a fsb on those

its bclk --default is 100mhz and overclocking is mainly by the multiplier as you probably wont get by 107mhz

bclk--thats as high as i have managed

1600mhz ram is the usual choice--but its 1.5v not 1.65v so check that

depending what you want to spend and what you need a z68 board may be a better choice than a p67

i went 4 x 4gb as it was cheaper than 2 x 8gb ---works perfectly

if its only for gaming a 2500k is far cheaper and just as good--2600k has hyperthreading so only really needed

if what you do benefits from the extra cores

edit--and if using a aftermarket cooler you may be better getting corsair low profile memory as the

vengeance heatsinks can get blocked by some coolers
