I decided to spend money on getting a good gaming pc, and finally got all the parts. I put it together, but now when I turn it on, the cpu begins to run at 50 degrees c, but quickly climbs to 60c, and this is just running in bios, without the hard drive it anything. The processor is an amd fx 4130.

Solution
That CPU runs quite hot in general, but too hot at 60C in Bios. You might want to take it out and reapply thermal paste. You probably mess up the installation part.
I remember when I first installed my first CPU, I got the same problem. It would overheat and turn off every few hours and eventually I got tired of that and I took out the CPU again and I grabbed a piece of paper and just squished the thermal paste on it, smeared it some more and removed like 30% of what I had put because I put too much.
