Australian processor prices... ouch!

cellery 800 = $259
duron 800 = $157
duron 850 = $210
p3 800 (133) = $455
p3 850 (100) = $509
p3 1000 = $625
athlon 1000 = $390
athlon 1200 = $559
athlon 1200 C = $459 - wtf is happening with the price of the C???
athlon 1333 C = $618
p4 1.5 with 128mb rdram = $1235

to compare the others to the p4 ram costs about $120 for 128mb PC133
i hate auzzie prices :(

Give the fact that the Australian dollar is only worth 51 American cents you can clearly understand the prices. Divide each of those prices by 2 and you get the equivelent in US$, which is close enough to what you would actually pay.

not exactly the same as you would here but if you add in the fee for shipping acrose the world and have to exchange currency i guess its almost reasonable but i would think if you live in australia it would be better to have a friend/relative in the U.S. buy all the products for you and ship them to you.
