Processor similar to amd athlon 5350

Just wanted to know is there any processor equal or better than Athlon 5350 in the same price range

If you need an AM1 aside from the Sempron 3850 which is slower, that is the only game in town.

If you are open to better motherboards/processors/other brands, the Intel Pentium G4400 is only about $15 more and would demolish the Athlon. But it needs a Skylake motherboard as well.

That Athlon is not for gaming,

What is your budget, and do you own any parts already you will be reusing?

The Intel Celeron G1840 has similar multicore performance and far superior single core performance (about twice as fast) for about the same price, about $40 for the processor alone. Keep in mind that it needs a different motherboard.
