I am looking to upgrade my PCs processor. I currently have an Intel(R) Celeron(R) with the cores running at 2.20/2.19 GHz.

I do a lot of graphic design, Photoshop CS6 (64-bit) work, and a lot of video editing.

I also do like to watch HD movies and videos.

I would NOT prefer to overclock my current CPU. So i am looking for a faster processor that are compatible with my system.

Here are the details:

Manufacturer: Intel

Model: Inspiron 560

Operating System: Windows 7 (64-bit)

Memory (RAM): 4.00GB

Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU @ 2.20GHz/2.19GHz

Chipset: GeForce GTX 750

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750

Your motherboard is Intel G43 Chipset based on LGA775 socket. Dell clearly specifies in its Setup Guide on Page 58 - which you can download here - http://downloads.dell.com/Manuals/Common/inspiron-560_setup%20guide_en-us.pdf, that there are 4 Dell Inspiron 560s with different CPUs.

Since you do a lot of graphic design, Photoshop CS6 (64-bit) work, and video editing, I suggest you add another 4GB of RAM, which would certainly give some good performance improvement for your line of work.

All major RAM manufacturers on their websites have some this called System Scanner, which will scan your PC to and help you finding a matching RAM with same specifications of your current RAM.

Cheers!
