Most pads/notebooks are often impossible to upgrade cpu-wise, either because of soldered in CPUs, BIOS limitations, thermal/power concerns, etc...

The best think to do is contact Lenovo tech support and ask them. Be sure you have all the info on your system before you call. The motherboard is probably proprietary so it may not be as flexible as a normal model.
