I have a dell dimension e521. I have upgraded my memory to 3 gb. I have an Athlon 64 3500 2.2 gb processor. What processor should I upgrade to?

The best you could go is the Athlon x2 5600+ which would give you a nice upgrade to your system. You can pick one up for about 60 bux which would definatly bring new life to your system.

What are you using the system for and why do you want to upgrade?

Check for a BIOS update before swapping out cpu's, will save you aggro later on.
