Prodigy and Micro-ATX Motherboards

Quick question. I am planning on getting the Bitfenix Prodigy Case, only problem is I need a tiny bit more than 1 PCI slot so I need a Micro-ATX motherboard. I already have the new Haswell and plan on using that so I need a motherboard for that chipset. I am heavily considering the Asus Gryphon for it's great reliability and warranty. The only thing I am concerned about is if it will fit. I know the Prodigy is 250 mm wide and the Asus Gryphon is 244 mm wide so theoretically it should fit but will that be okay with side panels and will it fit in as far as length goes as well? If you could help I'd really appreciate it thanks.

Suprisingly no. The BitFenix Prodig is 9.84x15.9x14.1". That is bigger than some M-ATX cases and comparable to others. If it weren't weird it would have more than enough room for a M-ATX motherboard but it is weird and instead of having the motherboard placed vertically it lays it flat and that is my concer. Is the platform the motherboard rests on big enough for an Asus Gryphon? Just because it by default says mini-itx does not mean it is too small.

Ok well that makes it better to understand as you explained why, instead of just saying nope mini-itx no go. So I really like the prodigy but I also really like the Gryphon too. Can you recommend either a solid motherboard for the prodigy or a solid M-ATX case for the Gryphon (Keep in mind I like aesthetics over features as far as cases go. I don't care for things like front usb headers though they are nice so keep that in mind when suggesting a case) and as far as aesthetics go that eliminates the most commonly suggested cases in the corsair 350d, any lianli case, etc. because those cases aren't exactly eye candy.

Techniquely I don't, but it is preferred for a couple of reasons (both of which are solvable while staying mini-itx) 1. I currently have a PCIe wifi card (I can get a usb wifi card for cheap so this isn't really an issue but PCIe cards in general are faster), I am a sucker for great audio as well and would like a dedicated sound card but this is very fixable with a motherboard that has high quality sound already built into it.

What is your speaker/headset? Generally the built in audio is good enough for games.

I like the built in wifi and I will probably end up going with this one but is there a built in wifi board that overclocks decently or is that asking for a little too much?
