Question Product key transfer

Hi.
I have read about transfering Windowa 10/11 Product Keys but I am still a bit unsure.
Firstly, if I reinstall Windows on the same PC with NO hardware change do I need to enter the Key again or will it be authomaticly activated?

Secondly, if I want to activate Windows on NEW hardware or brand new PC what should happen to the old one?

2. 1 license key, 1 PC. You can't use it on both the old and the new.

Sorry, this is actualy an OEM license and I know its untransferable. I want to get a retail key

I didnt know which type of license would be better and I wanted to know about how can you transfer the 25 character license with those scenarios?

From your subsequent comments, there is no "transfer".

You're building up a new PC, it needs it own license.

Win 11 Home or Pro.
Probably Home, unless you know you need the few extra features in Pro.

Buying the license directly from MS, there is no "OEM". In the future, that license would be transferable so some new system.

No difference.

You're buying the license key.
It will be associated with your MS account.
