profesional plus office, trying to install onto windows 7 - installation fail

my laptop just crashed, and I had to reinstall windows 7, but a friend put in I guess a better version I think the windows 7 professional.

all I know is that before I could install professional plus office I believe 2010, onto my windows 7 before, and now just says installation package fail.

I tried to set the windows to open in from the troubleshooting which was windows xp service pack 2, but even that still would give me the same installation package fail on the screen...

how do I open this office on a newer version of windows 7?
