Hello

I know that Creative is the best Brand for a sound cards since the old times of dos and untill the moment!

thinking of proffesional sound card...
Creative has a proffesional sound card which has really really insane high quality everything!
They actually USED 24K GOLD!

only one thing i didnt like!
It was a PCI 2.0 card not PCI express

Is there any professional PCI express sound cards available?!

I have another question that is quite off topic

I have seen something similar to JBOD and external SAS but it was with PCI and Pci express
It was a case having some sort of a board containg only PCI and some chips ,The case have a power supply
that case is connected to the computer via a cable just like connecting a JBOD !

Can someone give me more detailes about this thing?!

Waiting for answers

Thanks

ASUS is one of my favorites as creative.
i dont know the other two.
can you give me some links to their products?

Thanks

Auzentech:
Forte (X-fi): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829156010
Bravurua (X-fi): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829156015
Meridian 2G (CMI-8788): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829156002R
HTHD (X-fi): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829156014

HT Omega (All CMI-8788 based):
Claro Halo: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829271004
Claro II: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829271007
eClaro: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829271006
Claro Halo XT: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829271005

For the most part, HT Omega uses the same chipset (CMI-8788) ASUS uses. Auzentech used the CMI-8788 for a few of its older cards and the Meridian, but otherwise used Creatives own X-fi chipset with significantly upgraded components. Both are a bit overdue for a product refresh though...
