Program Error

When I execute wordpad I get the following message:

Program Error

wordpad.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
Windows. You will need to restart the program.

An error log is being created.

Where is the error log? This error happens with a number
of different standard windows programs.

This error was resolved when I made my default printer a
local printer. The error began when my network printer
was not available.
