Program files problem

Hi there, i recently got a samsung 840 evo as a boot drive (upgraded from a 64gb ssd) and back when i had my old boot drive, i installed all of my programs to my second drive. The problem is my pc doesn't seem to detect them. When i do a windows search (windows 8.1) i can't find anything. Also, my control panel doesn't seem to detect them either. When i want to launch any of these programs i have to go into my program files manually. I guess it would have something to do with my registry.

How did the OS get installed on the new SSD? If it was a new installation, the new OS does not know anything about those applications.
You need to reinstall them.

You can access data you have on a secondary drive. You cannot access programs. All programs must be reinstalled under the new OS.
