[SOLVED] program for storing security camera feed

i am setting up a small home server to intake and store the footage from a security camera.
can anyone recommend a free program to handle the process? ideally something with the ability to wipe the oldest files as new ones come in when the storage fills.
just a very low power old e5400 dual core system, its only job will be intake and storage of video i have a gaming pc for the rest
