This is my first time using Windows 8 on a brand new Lenovo laptop with an ultra high resolution touchscreen. Since the day I started I get information popup windows in the bottom right corner that are too small to read. I downloaded several games and can't play them because the text and icons in the games are too small to read. I just downloaded Gimp and can't use it because the icons in the program are to small to see. I have tried to adjust the resolution but that isn't the issue. The normal desktop icons are easily readable but when it comes to random programs parts are impossible to see. I hope I am not the only person with the same issue. Thank you for the help.

I need you to right click on your desktop and select screen resolution. On the bottom there is a blue link to make text bigger or smaller. Play with those settings and let me know if that is the problem. If not i can get a better solution for you.

I was going to attach a picture to show you but I am not sure how to do that. The trouble is not the desktop icons or the title bar font size. It is actually inside of programs. Initially I thought it was just that game but I have 4 programs now that are unusable because of this same problem. Inside of the programs, aspects of the program will be so small that they are unreadable. I concluded that it must be a Windows 8 issue or this computer issue because I use the same programs with no issues on my other computers that don't have Windows 8. Does this help clarify the issue?
