A few weeks ago I replaced the slave HDDs in my PC with a pair of 6 TB Seagates. I copied and pasted all the data from my old HDDs into the new ones, and after changing their drive letter they worked as normal. I was stricken by how loud they were, but apparently that was normal. What wasn't normal was how much trouble they gave me afterwards, and I'm running out of ideas.
First, one of the drives kept vanishing from the registry while my PC was on; I simply modified the power settings so that Windows 10 stopped powering down the HDs after a period of time. That fixed it. But I'm now having consistent problems where Firefox and Discord are continuously acting up: tabs on Firefox keep crashing and the whole program crashes fairly regularly now (this never happened with my old HDDs), while Discord is also having its own fair share of lock-ups that lead into crashes that seem to follow Firefox's crashes. I've uninstalled and reinstalled both Firefox and Discord and I'm still getting the same problems.
And now I'm discovering that DirectX 11 is also bugging out on me because ever since I replaced my HDDs, I get this error when I try to boot up FFXIV:

(PS: the imgur tab crashed the first time I tried logging into to upload that screenshot)
I've updated my graphics drivers, and these errors are consistent. The only thing that has changed are my HDDs. I don't know what else to do. Could it be a RAM issue? I'm flying blind here. I've also used the Seagate HD tool to scan my drives--they were scanned all day and came out clean, but the errors keep happening. Any help would be appreciated.
(PSS: My Firefox window went all-white while I was wrapping this up, thankfully I could alt-tab this time and come back to this screen.)
