Program only works on 32bit mine is 64

Hi

I have a program which only runs correctly on Windows 7 32bit.

The windows 7 I have at the min is 64bit.

Is thwir a way around it or do I have to buy a Windows 7 32 bit installation disk.

what app? it should run fine on win7x64, but, what app in particular. If they have limited it to 32 bit only OS, then there is nothing you can do but run an old Win7x86 vm or computer.

It's diagbox, Peugeots diagnostic system.

I have it on my old xp computer but as you can imagine very very slow.

So I've downloaded it onto windows 7, it works once as in I can read a vehicles faults once then when I try and connect to another car it says activation error reinstall diagbox.

I've spoken to the seller of the program and they said it only works on Windows xp and 7 32bit

you can use VMware Workstation Player to create an Windows XP vm and install it there I would think, or an older computer. Did you try to run the installed app in Win7 in Compatibility Mode?

It does work just once, so I'd say it's compatible, but after first use its like it fails.

Windows 10 is an option but I think it then loses some of its capabilities like reading vehicles pre 2005.

How would I upgrade my Windows 7 to windows 10?

Vmware workstation player is used to create a virtual machine. A computer inside your computer if you will. Install Windows 7 32 bit on that and then connect to your PC and it should feed through to your VM so you can actually use the software
