Program that deals with crypto?

So as you all probably know windows saves copies of files as a backup for restore points. I know there's a program out there that will search through this hard drive that has crypto and find these older versions of files so you can then restore them. Does anyone know of a program like this? I don't know the name of it?

it saves files for system restore but they are literally system files. If you are talking about the old style shadow copies then I think you're referring to Shadow Explorer.

Your backup software should be able to pull files from your backups as well.

If you were a victim of Ransomware, I think Crypto locker deletes restore points and backups.

You're a little late to the game. The cryptoware writers have gotten smarter, the first thing done is to nuke all shadow copies so you cannot do a simple restore, then they go after any on-line backups. If you've been hit by one of these the only real fix is to wipe and reinstall, then restore from known good off-line backups.
