My Window 7 crashed the other day when I hooked up a old HDD with pic and videos. The PC said it couldn't repair the errors and shut down. When I unplugged the HDD the PC started up very slowly (4 min) and now my audio and USB 3 keeps going out even after reloading the audio and USB 3 drives. I keep downloading Realtec but my system information says the sound device is High Definition Audio Device Microsoft? Is Microsoft the same as Realtec or is it taking over?

Is there a program that will do a complete check and repair of my motherboard and drive?

Windows 7 Pro
6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
64 Bit
MSI motherboard MS-7641
AMS FX 8350 Eight-Core
SMBIOS 2.6

Do not buy pc repair apps.
They are likely to introduce malware or worse.

It sounds like there was a problem with the HDD that caused a problem.
Perhaps it was infected with a virus or malware.

If you have data on the drive that you want to retrieve, connect it via a usb to sata adapter cable and not internally via the motherboard.

I suspect a software issue.
Basic pc functioning can be tested via a ram test.
Run memtest86 or memtest86+
They boot from a usb stick and do not use windows.
You can download them here:
If you can run a full pass with NO errors, your ram should be ok.

Running several more passes will sometimes uncover an issue, but it takes more time.
Probably not worth it unless you really suspect a ram issue.

Next, try to boot your system in safe mode.
F8 should let you get into safe mode.
Safe mode boots windows with a minimum of safe drivers.
If that boots ok, then you have a driver issue.

I would start with reinstalling your motherboard chipset drivers downloaded directly from the motherboard site.
