Does anyone know of a good programmable keyboard? I am still using my Maxi touch keyboard I purchase in 1997. The only keyboard I have found with fully programmable keys are made for gamers and they need the manufactures bloatware installed. My current keyboard stores the program key mapping in it's own memory so it works on any operating system.

The last programmable keyboard (after the fashion you indicated) I was aware of, were Focus branded keyboards; however, since the unfortunate death of the owner of that company, the quality of Focus keyboards has plummeted, and I have moved back to Unicomp for my keyboard needs.

I have no indication that their PC 122 keyboard is programmable in a way that stores the macro in the keyboard, itself, but do have an email to them asking that very question.

If you use Linux, though, there are several lightweight macro programs available to use for that purpose. Searching and selecting the right one for you is the way to go, there.

If you use windows, https://www.autohotkey.com/ is a good possibility.
