Programming Area Forum

Hi,

It would be fantastic to have an area to discuss programming and development, such as the different languages, share scripts, etc.

Would this be able to be added?

It's possible, but would likely be fairly high down the priority list.

The closest we have would probably be Apps General Discussion.

We've found that most of the programming questions are schoolwork, so I'm not sure that there would be a great deal of useful content. We're mainly a tech forum, and our forum is largely set up for stuff that changes fairly quickly, whereas programming doesn't change anywhere near as fast as e.g. hardware prices.

It's been requested internally along with several other categories. To the best of my knowledge some updates are in the works; the Windows 10 forum was rushed out for obvious reasons.
