Question Programs are launched, but not displaying

After cleaning my PC, I decided to play some games, so I launched Valorant. The problem is, the program opens (I can see it in my task manager), but it's not showing up (not even the taskbar is showing it). This is also the same when I try to open Steam (and its games), it shows up in the task manager but not showing up. Also, whenever I try to close the task manager, it always freezes my PC for 10 seconds or so, then it says NOT RESPONDING, and then it closes. My PC also didn't boot after i restarted it (when i came to this problem), as it would get stuck a the spinning dots at the motherboard screen (it eventually did boot after i forced close / open it 100 times). Does anyone know what the problem is?

Edit: the only program that does open is Discord...
Edit 2: My task manager WILL ALWAYS freeze up before closing
Edit 3: I FIXED IT....my SATA cables were somehow loose 😀

Responding to this for posterity's sake.

Often times a lose cable, be it data or power, will cause an issue similar to what you've stated. Be sure to check and recheck all power connections to your components in your build after you do a maintenance/cleanup run.
