[SOLVED] Programs/Folder windows sometimes close on opening

Hi,


I've been encountering this on/off issue whereby, occasionally If I try to open a program or navigate a folder, said item will close immediately on startup. A restart will fix this issue and I may go days or a week without it happening but, recently it has been daily.

Any suggestions?

check the hard drive with its manufacturer´s tool

check windows integrity
open the command prompt as administrator and type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

check the memory by running memtest.org usb autoinstaller (bootable USB flash drive)
