Hello all,
turned on my PC today to find it in total disobey, it worked fine yesterday when I turned it off.
First of all a program like Skype is using 5 minutes to get up and running because it hangs on "Not Responding". If I even dare to touch the sound settings in Skype it also hangs for several minutes for no apparent reason.
I have no sound either - both headphones and my monitor speakers are completely "dead". If I try and play "test tone" It just gives me an error saying it was not able to. If I check my soundcard-program (Sound Blaster), it eventually crashes if I fiddle with it too much.
Chrome, although it works to browse, does not buffer YT. It buffers around 10% of a video and then just stops - my only way to make it play a video is jumping around in it randomly and hope it starts.
I scanned with Malwarebytes and deep-scan with AVG, but nothing major was found. I did get a BSOD earlier today when I was opening a PDF (an invoice, so it should not be a virus), but I of course did not take note of the error, nor do I know if problems occured after the BSOD since it was the first thing I did when turning it on.
I have no idea what to do now, as like I wrote, it worked fine yesterday, and now all of a sudden, nothing works out of the blue.
