Programs installed on secondary drive.

I have four drives. 1 120GB SSD and 3 Seagate 1TB drives. To maximize space on my SSD I had come up with the idea of installing all my programs/games to one of my dedicated "programs" drives. This has worked out perfectly for almost two years now. Except for the fact that I'm a reformat nut! :fou:

My question is, when I do a fresh install of Win7 on my SSD boot drive, how will I go about re-installing the programs already installed on my dedicated 1TB drive? Is this even possible?

Maybe it's just time for a bigger SSD... 😉

Whenever you reinstall Windows, you then have to reinstall all your applications no matter which drive you installed them on previously.
This is because your new Windows installation knows nothing about them. There are no support files for them in the Windows folder, and no related entries or keys in the Windows Registry

You will therefore need to use whatever installation media you used to install them last time.
