[SOLVED] Programs lagging after messing around inside computer

So I unplugged everything from my motherboard intending to change it out I ended up not being able to use the new motherboard yet so I reinstalled the original and now programs are lagging and when I tried to play LoL my fps would bounce from 60 to 30.

check cpu/gpu temp?
psu cable check? using all the ram? speed?

IK the Cpu temps are high but it was literally running fine last night

temp way too high. did you redo the cooler? replace the thermal paste?

im about to try putting new thermal paste on hope it helps. But the temps were that high last night and i was playing fine so idk if thats my problem
