Programs like MSI Afterburner?

The title says it all! I really like MSI Afterburner but 1/5 times it will crash my pc and the only solution is to manually restart it! Last time that happened while windows 10 was updating and I had to format.. Is there any other program that lets you control the fans and show fps and gpu temperatures while in game? My GPU is a R9 290x Lightning if anyone could offer a solution on the Afterburner crashes.

EVGA's PrecisionX does basically the same thing.
You don't need an EVGA GPU to use it or anything.

Are you overclocking too far... I bet that is what is happening. Otherwise Try EVGA x16 Precision

Thanks James I will check it out! Poozle the thing is I have not done ANY oc to the gpu! :S
