I've read up on this problem but nobody seems to have this exact problem. So here it is:

Recently, within the last week, my computer has gotten to where after a certain amount of time, certain programs will get where they will try to open but then close immediately. This happens with Photoshop, Paint Tool Sai & a game called Paladins through Steam as well as MalwareBytes. However, Fallout 4, Chrome & another game called Fortnite all open without a problem. As well as everything else as far as I know. They open fine when I restart and open fine for a few hours after. But after a while when I try to open them, it will run like it's opening and flash up on the taskbar for a split second and then close back out. They aren't running in task manager. I've read it could be a virus but it's not all programs. It also doesn't happen all the time. On fresh restarts they open fine until after a while. I don't open anything specifically that's triggering this. I've ran malware bytes (on restart), cc cleaner and I have avast. I've scanned with all of them, nothing popped up as a virus. I've backed everything else up but willing to try other options before I restore. If anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks.

"Is Auslogics more in-depth than roguekiller as well?"

You can't compare two products which perform an entirely different task and ask if one is "more in depth" than the other.

Auslogics Registry Cleaner is just that, a registry cleaner, it's not a malware detector.

RogueKiller on the other hand is anti-malware software which scans your system for malware and removes any it finds.

Now, regarding registry cleaners, I don't recommend using any of them as they have the potential to do more harm than good if they remove any registry information which should have been left intact. They are by no means foolproof, so in that respect they are unsafe.
okay

Chances are since you have Avast install, Ran malware bytes that its neither a virus or malware (95% chance, nothing is impossible)
you ran CCleaner, and that is nice to do, I would suspect either a corrupted file in the o/s causing this or a messed up registry.
in your position and I have seen something similar on client systems, and done this and it has worked to clear the issue.

Run a program called Auslogics Registry Cleaner, it is free, and you can download it from : https://www.auslogics.com/en/software/registry-cleaner/
Yes I know CCleaner has a registry cleaner, but this program is much more in depth, run it, clean the issues (repair) and then afterwards reboot your computer (this process should in theory set all 3 registry tables to be the same.

run your pc and report here is you have any more issues.

Hi, Thank you for response! Just to keep from possibly downloading more stuff on my PC, I forgot to mention I also ran RogueKiller as well. Nothing to report from that, either. Is Auslogics more in-depth than roguekiller as well? I'm willing to download it of course, just want to make sure I'm exhausting all options.
