Recently my computer started to freeze or stop loading pages for about 30 seconds, every 5-10 minutes. That was on windows 7 on a hard disk drive. I thought my hdd was going bad so I went and bought an upgrade, a PNY 120GB SSD. I then installed Windows 8.1 on the new SSD. The Problem is still occurring.
The task manager shows the disk is at 100% activity every time this happens. It also shows
-0 ms response time
-0 kb/s read speed
-0 kb/s write speed
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this problem, even right after a clean install on a new disk?
