Programs won't run after new profile

I recently started getting an error which wouldn't let me install programs. I looked up some guides and a lot of people said enable the hidden admin profile. I enabled it and logged off my main profile and logged on to that one. After I switched back over to my main profile all the programs were acting weird. My razer synapse would go not responding my skype would give me a I/O error. I turned off the hidden admin profile and still the same thing. Other programs I try to run just wont run. I've scanned with anti-virus and malware bytes and nothing has come up. I'm currently on my laptop so if anyone needs specs just post.

Check this link and go down to "a better way to edit default windows profile." Try the recommended steps and see if that works out. If not, let us know. Somebody will be able to help.
