Proper CPU for 2D Design

Is a Core i3 6100 CPU proper for 2D designs? (photoshop and Indesign with large size files)
I have 16 G Ram and Internal HD Graphic 530 2GB.

The software doesn't know the difference. A disk is a disk to the applications.
