Question Proper way to connect ARGB splitter?

So my MB has 2 ARGB connectors. I use one of them for 2 of my big fans and the other one is free. Since my back fan can’t reach to the second connector, I am thinking of connecting it with a 1 to 5 splitter. The cooler master one.

Should I just plug the one side into one of the connectors and connect all my fans to the other side? Is this ok?

Yes but a simple extension would be cleaner looking
