Properly instal default client, Windows 7

when i click on a link (sometimes) I am told my email default client isnt properly installed. what can I do? I am not in any way a geek and am lost with this. I use my email quite a lot and it gets very anoying. Please Help.

Win7 doesn't ship with an e-mail client.
You can install this.
