What causes the wind to blow? Well, wind is created when there is uneven heating of landmasses by the sun.

Some problems with wind power:
1. Not constant.
2. It's a low density energy sourse not suitable to run an industrial society.
3. Not economically viable without government (read "taxpayer") subsidies
