I bought a motherboard that came from a dell optiplex and it has a proprietary front panel header. My power supply doesn’t have that specific header so I’ve been powering it on by shorting the pins with a screwdriver, I’m worried that using this technique may cause damage to the pins. I am looking for an adapter for this proprietary header but I can’t find one.https://images.app.goo.gl/eDZ5AEHZMMGP8CBJ6

the power switch pins are usually connected to the case power switch... which is usually connected through a two-pin header socket that should slip right on those two pins. I'm not sure why you need the power supply to connect to it.
