Hi,

is it possible to set the internet proxy settings for a specific Computer
Group?

Hello Mark,

In order to have this setting apply to particular user you will have to turn
on User Group Policy Loopback Processing Mode and choose Merge. This will
allow you to apply User settings to computers. You would do all of this
within the GPO that is linked to OU that contains the computers. You can
find the User Group Policy Loopback Processing Mode setting under Computer
Configuration\Administrative Templates\System\Group Policy.

Hi,

do i need a seperate OU for this to work?

This would be difficult, because they are now in OUs based on there location
and funktion, such as ou=sales,ou=Munich,dc=xxxx,dc=de and so on. (We have
23 sites to manage).

The scenario would be:
Default Policy: No Proxy Settings
One User Group: with Proxy settings (User can use the Internet from every
Computer) <- this is easy
One Computer Group: with Proxy settings (every user on this computers can
use the internet)

Thanks
Mark.
