[SOLVED] PS/2 splitter cable

Looking for a PS/2 splitter cable for my purple/green PS/2 port, I am constantly met with the following warning: "Note:this Cable usually used for the motherboard with Black PS/2 port,and can not use for Purple/Green PS/2 port to split." What would be the problem?

Thanks, asoroka. I gave up, and instead I bought a 2 PS2 to 1 USB splitter cable with PS2 to USB converter. Didn't cost a lot. Hope this works, so I can keep my old Microsoft Natural keyboard and at the same time try if I can get an old Logitech TrackMan Marble Wheel going.
