Question PS2 Freemacboot is 8mb all you need?

I want to buy PS2 Free Mac boot plug and play.I see that some of them say this product has FMCB function, but you need to download if you have to download it yourself you might as well make one yourself.Any way my question is should i just buy a 8mb one?If that is all that is needed to get it on a card?Why would you need one that is bigger than 8mb?

A normal 8mb card is all you need but it leaves little space over so you have limited space for saves which is probably why people want a bigger card so they don't have to use up both card slots.

Thanks for that,surely you use a separate memory card for that.I am new to the PS2 althoughi was around at the time.
