Hello everyone!

I have an AOC monitor (G2460V) that only supports progressive scan input. I'm using an adapter called PS2 To HDMI, which works very well on my TV, but I was curious if it's possbile to somehow deinterlace the signal so that my monitor can display it? Last time I tried, the image was... shaking and flickering along with the message "input not supported" which is obvious. In some games, like Gran Turismo 4, when I switch to 480p, everything is normal, but the monitor does not accept interlaced video. Also, is it possbile that the adapter causes input lag? 1080i on Gran Turismo 4 looks actually very nice on my TV, but it feels a bit delayed.

Solution
I'm under the impression that unless what you have is basically a straight converter (i.e., turns analog directly into HDMI), composite to HDMI adapters already do deinterlacing of some sort.

If your adapter can't convert composite into a progressive signal, then you need another converter.

Also any conversion will cause input lag.
