ps3 120 hertz for pc gaming?

Hi i have a question about the playstation tv (http://us.playstation.com/ps3/accessories/sony-playstation-3d-display-ps3/index.html) since I already own one im thinking this is a cheaper way to get 120 hertz for gaming is it possible because its only allowing me to do 60 i would like to do 240 but really really want to do 120 at the least thanks for your help! 😀

Hooked to a PC that display would only do 60hz. Its a Tv and TVs and monitors do refresh rates differently.

so i cant do it? because i was reading that someone installed a driver to make it do 120 but that sounds ridiculous im just a bit confused on how they dont work the same and why i cant simply run it at 120 hertz, and thanks for the quick response.

supposedly it makes a huge difference while gaming

You should try playing on a monitor with 120 Hz refresh rate first (owned by a friend or something) and if you do indeed experience a difference and you can afford it then go for it.

i wish one of my friends had a 120 hertz thanks for the help. ill drop it for now and just use 60 hertz thanks a lot
