First off, I would like to apologize if this question doesn't belong on this site, or if I am asking in the wrong place.

So my question is: Would 12GB be enough for me? I want to play 2 games max. GTA V and CoD. I want to play both online, and when a newer version of CoD comes out, I will probably get it with no plans to go back to the older version so deleting isn't an issue.

Also, I have a HDD from a laptop that I could potentially use if needed.

Solution
GTA V takes up 8GB alone I thought I saw IV so no 12GB won't be enough to fall back on really then, but you can use your laptop HHD as long as it is enough, but it also depends what type of laptop drive it is. If it's an IDE 2.5 inch then no, but if its a Sata 2.5 inch 9.5mm or less then yes. The HDD will also be formatted.

12 GB is not recommended. No, New generation games requires lots of storage and extra space is required. If you aren't going to download anything from the PSN store then yes 12GB is fine as long you are playing from the discs.
Sata HDD may require and please format it before use.
Good Luck.

The drive I have is a SATA drive. What is meant by "fall back on" As I was saying. GTA V and/or CoD will be the only games I will play. While I would play them often, I would not be playing other games at all.
