PS3 emulator / Gran turimos 6 for pc ?

Hey

i know there are many Threads about those subjects. like 4-5 years ago my friend had Gran turismo 5 and i enjoyed playing it. that time i looked for an emulator to play it on pc but never found once since i guess there wasn't one out yet ?

Now its like 4-5 years later. how far are they now with Emulating the PS3 ? when can we expect an fully working Emulator of PS3 whice is capable of running Gran turismo 6 ?

I bought like 1,5 years ago an PS3 to be able to play GTA5. i sold my PS3 like 1-2 months ago to be able to build my current PC.

The PS3 6 core cell processor was a beast don't underestimate it. This where we are now :

Right now, and for many years to come, your best option is to get a cheap PS3 console and play your games there. Even if a fully functional PS3 emulator was released tomorrow, there is no computer on the market that would run it full speed.

i see alot of stuff what they done around march 2014 but what about 2015 ? we are a year later now ?
what did they achieve right now ?

The PS3 architecture is pretty complicated to emulate however its not impossible. A couple of basic PSN titles are up and running on the emulator (at 4-5 frames), but when will AAA commercial games become playable is a mystery. Don't expect anything in the upcoming 3-4 years (or even more).
Nowadays the PS3 is so cheap you could buy a second hand one for like 99$ and get GT6 for another 10$ and you are good to go.
