Ps3 gta v stuck at installing

Well i format my ps3 then i tried to play my gta v again its a physical disk so i just put it in and wait for updates then it says need install , then i let it be but it stuck at 1389mb over 8486mb
How do i fix this

Hey there, VGlead98.

Does this happen only with GTA V? Have you tried installing another game, to see if the same thing happens. You could try again, if that doesn't work, perhaps you could try connecting the HDD to a computer either externally (via a SATA to USB adapter, external enclosure or a docking station), or internally via a SATA connection and download its manufacturer's diagnostic tool to test it and see if there's anything wrong with it.

Only gta v tho , about the connecting part well idk how to do that but some people said it will install if i use other (friend's disk) disk is it true?

I guess you could try that and use the code for your product to activate it. It is indeed possible that if this is the case, the problem might be with the disk you are installing the game from. It might have been damaged somehow.

Mine is physical disk no code

Oh, I see, my bad.

You can try to install the game by using your friend's disk and try playing with yours afterwards. However if your copy is damaged, chances are that you might not be able to play the game and you might end up having to borrow the disk from your friend when you want to play it. Anyway, it's worth the try so go ahead.
