Hi guys,

Bought a Samsung UE48JU6400 LED 4K Ultra HD Smart TV last month and tried hooking up my PS3 to it yesterday. For some reason it will display on HDMI but only up to the configuration page, as soon as I set the HDMI settings to 720p, 1080i & 1080p, when the screen refreshes it stays blank and says no HDMI devices are connected.

After messing around for a while with the wires plugging it in and out, restarting the PS3 the display shows fine. And then after using the PS3 again everything has gone back to not displaying.

Any ideas? HDMI cable is fine as I've used it before on my normal 1080p monitor and I've also used the PS3 on my old TV. TV HDMI ports are also fine as I'm using a Sky+ HD Box.

Thank you for spending your time to read this :)

Only issue I ran into with my 4K TV is that the "4K" HDMI port didn't behave well with resolution changes. Plugging my lower resolution sources into the other 4 regular HDMI ports worked fine and it was able to rescale on demand.

With the 4K port I would get no signal or have to restart the TV with the source running.

That's the problem I currently have, not sure which port to plug it into. Each port has different names associated such as MHL, ARC etc
