PS3 slim Beeps Onces and Turns Off.

I have a ps3 slim that i bought used. It worked good for a while then it started acting weird no red light I had to mess with the power cord then it would work. Now the red light is on and when I turn it one the lights come on it beeps and then shuts off. The power cable is a cheap replacement that I had to buy could it be that? Thanks.

it could be the cord, or the power supply is faulty .
