So im getting this PC - http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=1344750&Sku=SYX-1112 (it has a ASUS P8H61-M MOBO) - very soon and i plan to record uncompressed video in 1080p with a black magic intensity pro(BMIP). I know that there is room for the BMIP in my PC i just dont know if the PC is fast enough for it, and my main question is the HDD. Is it fast enough, ive heard you need a RAID drive to save the video onto but i have no idea exactly what that is. Any help is appreciated.

Your computer won't be fast enough to record uncompressed 1080i quality, I can't really go into depth because I don't have a BMIP, but I know you have to have RAID 0 on 3 Hard Drives.
